Wild Gifts – by Ian McCallum

Ian McCallum shares with us all what true wilderness is and gives us, and what many of us,even in the “wild places” fail to understand: the uniqueness of the wild, its animals, plants, trees, bushes, grasses, smells, sounds and ultimately the urgency to truly respect it, love it and protect it. One has to be touched, somehow, if you read it aloud. “ECHO” ; “THEY NEVER ASKED” and “TRACKING” touched my heart particularly. We may become a better person by reading it – I know I have.
