Become a Guardian of Eden
CONTRIBUTE MONTHLY AND LEAVE A LEGACY OF LIFE FOR ALL
A closing window of opportunity...
Our wild spaces and communities are in crisis, but we still have time to act… In the emerging corridors between Eden and Addo, something powerful is happening. Farmers, restoration workers, conservationists and supporters are reconnecting ancient pathways. They are linking land, life and livelihoods. They are restoring and rewilding the living systems that sustain us all.
Because when nature flourishes, people flourish. This is more than conservation. It is restoring the flow of life itself. And those who choose to stand for this future are more than supporters, they are part of something far greater. They are the Guardians of Eden.
Stories of hope
STRANGEFOOT
I am all alone in the forest, since my mom died all those years ago, I walk the paths I make alone. It’s a wonder my large body can slip so silently through the undergrowth, but I do. Perhaps that’s why you two-legged folk call me Strangefoot. The forest here still echoes with the memories of my ancestors, and I am grateful for their presence… read more
CONNECTING EDEN TO ADDO
The Garden Route is in my bones. I grew up here, walking the forest paths with my mother not far from where Strangefoot, our country’s last free-roaming elephant, once walked with her own mother. We were raised just kilometres apart, both shaped by the same land, both guided by our mothers. Yet today, Strangefoot walks alone, the last of her kind, while I am still together with my family… read more

Reconnect Our Lifelines
Somewhere along the 400 km of ancient fynbos, forest and karoo, your name belongs.
Guardians of Eden are the quiet force behind every hectare restored, every animal moving freely, every person who earns a living from the land they’re healing.
Because research has shown, time and again, that connected wild areas are far better at surviving and recovering than isolated patches. This new understanding of the critical importance of ecological corridors is driving a global shift in conservation.
So, this isn’t simply a donation. It’s a decision to join something that’s alive with hope – a dedicated community, a living corridor, a legacy that will outlast us all.
“I am convinced corridors are essential if nature is to remain viable. That is why I support Eden to Addo as a monthly donor, knowing that this dynamic, effective initiative has already achieved great things and confident it will continue to deepen and enlarge it’s exemplary impact.”
– Roddy Bray, Guardian of Eden – monthly donor
