The Eden to Addo Corridor Initiative originated in 2006. The dream is to connect the Garden of Eden near Knysna, Western Cape, to the Greater Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape by the establishment of a continuous natural corridor. Not only does this project aim to enhance the biodiversity and overall social-ecological sustainability of the area, but also to re-established well-known migratory routes of the past.
