The Robberg Coastal Corridor Landowners Association commissioned and funded this guideline specifically focussing on the Robberg Coastal Corridor. This corridor plays an essential role in linking the Robberg Nature Reserve and Garden Route National Park, as far west as the Noetzie River.

Land owners as well as developers will find insight into sustainable development and the legislative requirements behind it. The direction shared in this Guideline may just safe you from being on the wrong side of the law, and it offers information on different incentive role players such as: CapeNature, SANParks, the Eden to Addo Corridor initiative, the Bitou Municipality and other.

Activities with the potential to harm the environment as well as the environmental importance of the Robberg Coastal Corridor are highlighted. There are sections in this Guideline on: NEMA, the National Environmental Management Act; the Land Use Planning ordinance; the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations; NRHA) the National Heritage Resources Act and 14 other acts or ordinances.
